How to Apply… (Dates: 23 Feb – 09 March 2019)
This is an opportunity targeted at emerging contemporary art music composers who are either studying or in the first five years of launching their career as a composer. ISAM fosters an inclusive and friendly creative environment, so there are no age or nationality restrictions, nor is there a specific compositional style prerequisite. Composers who apply will write a work for acoustic instruments – any line up of the ensemble in residence. So how do you apply?
Simply fill in the registration form below and provide us with some of your best music.
Best music… as part of the application, we ask all applicants to supply two recent compositions in the following format: pdf’s (of your Scores) + mp3’s (of acompanying audio, either live performances or midi).
The files are to be uploaded to Dropbox and a shared link provided for each individual file. For information on how to set up a free Dropbox account and share files we have provided the following links:

Registration Form: First Round due no later than October 9, 2018.
First round applicants will be notified no later than October 30, 2018. Other rounds maybe offered if places are still available.
A Registration Fee of AUD $230 is required of all participants upon acceptance to Noosa ISAM, in order to ensure full participation. Successful first round applicants fee should pay this fee by November 05, 2018.
FEE: is due upon acceptance to Noosa ISAM to secure your place in the Academy. Payment can be made even if you do not have a PayPal Account. If there are any problems please contact us immediately below so we can make alternative arrangements.
NOOSA ISAM FEES of AUD $2180 fully cover the following:
- Room in self contained apartment in the fabulous South Pacific Resort
- All meals
- Tuition fees for the daily lessons, all semimars and workshops, as well as the competition entry
- Rehearsal fees, performance fees and recording fees
